STEP BY STEP INSTALLATION GUIDE

Proving that the best can get better, Triton has launched T80 Pro-Fit – the ultimate retrofit solution and latest addition to The Great British Shower Company’s iconic T80 electric shower family.

New developments in the product’s design have been made possible by analysing installer feedback gathered through training days at Triton HQ and direct communication to ensure the new unit meets every need and expectation. Combining this insight with more than 40 years of expertise in the UK bathroom market, Triton has made some seriously useful advancements to the eleventh generation of its T80 range.

The end result is a product which you can rely on to address the growing demand for retrofit shower solutions and replace almost any electric shower, whatever the brand or model. Here, Steve Saunders, senior technical manager at Triton, provides a simple step-by-step guide.

1. The T80 Pro-Fit unit is supplied with left inlet plugged and the popular right inlet open plus, Triton has included a nut and olive in the box, making it even easier and quicker to get connected when re-using an existing compression fitting. It is also suitable for other fitting materials and types, copper, plastic and the popular push fit. A template is also supplied to assist in routing pipe and cable in new installations.

2. The T80 Pro Fit water inlet connects to a left or right hand supply from top, bottom, back or sides. The shower inlet will connect to any demountable push fit fitting or compression fitting. An extension fitting is supplied to cater for a top entry pipe on the right hand side. A blanking plug is simply screwed into the left or right hand inlet depending on which side the water supply enters the unit.

4. Top pipe and cable entry trims can be inserted before or after the shower has been fitted to the wall. A removable bottom trim plate with insert trims makes it easy to route a water pipe and supply cable into the unit from the bottom.

6. With the bottom trim plate removed there is clear access to connect the water fitting and supply cable. For added convenience, wider channels within the backplate allow pipe to run alongside large cable up to 16mm, and are perfectly aligned for straight forward connection to the water inlet and terminal block
