Its Matt appearance lays the primary foundation for a highly contemporary look in any bathroom, allowing this new Rose Gold patina to create a distinct look and feel.
Unlike plated or traditionally ‘enamelled’ metallic bathroom brassware, MGS achieves its new Matt Rose Gold finish via the highly innovative PVD Technology: vapour deposition (PVD) in which the colour penetrates the metal by molecular bonding rather than coat it. This results in a smooth, durable, Matt Rose Gold finish that is consistent throughout every component in every design.
The key benefit of PVD Technology is its improved resilience, strengthening the surface of the material by up to 3 to 5 times. PVD is a far harder and more corrosion resistant finish than normal electroplating processes and has a better impact strength as well as excellent abrasion resistance. PVD is also environmentally friendly when compared by traditional coating processes such as electroplating and painting.
Featuring a hidden aerator for increased performance, precision single lever control and universal pop-up waste, the MB289 measures 180mm high with a spout reach of 136mm.
