Home installations business HomeServe Connect is celebrating a significant milestone after signing up its 20th UK franchise partner as part of an on-going drive to provide UK-wide coverage for its Customers.

St Asaph-based heating firm Chris Allen Plumbing and Heating Ltd is the latest business to join the rapidly expanding HomeServe Connect family, rebranding to HomeServe North Wales as part of the agreement to offer a range of home heating services to residential Customers across the region.

Wales and British and Irish Lions star Richard Hibbard was stunned when his boiler packed up - and a Grand Slam winning England rugby international turned up to help tackle the problem.

England women’s flanker Marlie Packer, who also works as an engineer for home assistance provider HomeServe, made sure the Gloucester hooker wasn’t left out in the cold for long by adding the finishing touches to the newly installed boiler and heating system.

The heat is on as Flame embarks on Scotland recruitment drive

Fast growing Heating & Plumbing merchant, Flame Heating Spares, is targeting further growth and job creation as it looks to expand its operation to serve the Scottish market.

Flame currently operates throughout the North East of England from seven branches, but is now looking to launch branches north of the border in Scotland’s major towns and cities, including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth and Dundee.
