Heritage Bathrooms collaborates with British designer on Limited Edition brassware collection

September 13, 2016

Heritage Bathrooms has joined forces with designer and illustrator Eleanore Longhurst to create a stunning new range of Limited Edition brassware, tapping into the popular consumer trend for more bespoke and distinctive finishes in the bathroom.

A custom creation for Heritage Bathrooms, the brand new Lymington Lace taps and coordinating shower, launched this summer, saw creator Eleanore take inspiration from popular looks within the fabric industry, including baroque lace designs and floral patterns, before settling on the final design - which was mainly influenced by popular vintage doily patterns.

Commenting on the unique new brassware collection, Eleanore says: “There’s definitely been an increase in demand for bespoke designs in recent years. There are so many mass-produced homewares on the market, and as a result more people want something unique, artisanal, hand-crafted and different in their homes - and designs like this are a way of bringing something distinctive into an interior space.”

The lace effect etched gold inlay has been paired with Heritage’s brand new tap range called Lymington, to combine the enduring popularity of lace with the trend of mixed materials within current interior designs. With a flared and curvaceous chrome handle, this range ensures consumers can embrace the trend for warm metal tones in the bathroom whilst still benefiting from the timeless appeal of classic chrome.

A continuation of Heritage’s new bold and more Distinctively Individual brand proposition, the Lymington Lace collection is just one of four brand new tap launches set to land in showrooms across the country over the next few months.

Also introducing a stunning rose gold version of the Hemsby tap, an on trend midnight blue handle to the Glastonbury classic lever and a Mother of pearl crosshead to the popular Gracechurch range, Heritage Bathrooms is combining some of the biggest interiors trends of the year with practicality and reliability too, by also offering a five-year product guarantee across all variations.

Tina Robinson, Product Manager for Heritage Bathrooms, comments: “In our annual Trends Panel we identified the key trends we wanted to incorporate into the new Limited Edition brassware collections, which included opulent metals, deep blues and mixed materials.

“To ensure the new ranges would appeal to both our classic consumer and more Distinctively Individual clientele, we then teamed up with Eleanore and our Interior Design Consultant Charlotte Conway to come up with the final designs. We are thrilled with the finishes and have already had interest from retailers across the country which is great indicator of the demand we can expect from customers.”

Launching alongside the brand new Caversham Wall Hung Vanity Unit, Abingdon Washstands and new classic Claverton Suite, Heritage’s new product launches are dedicated to providing consumers with high quality and trend-led products, whilst giving homeowners more versatility and choice when it comes to a bathroom update than ever before.
