A UK based plastic packaging specialist has teamed up with a global well established industrial wash machine supplier to bring the latest technology to the packing industry.
PPS, a plastic pacing specialist, have been known in the industry for over a decade to provide returnable packaging solutions such as crates and pallets. This year they teamed with UK based Industrial Wash Machines (IWM) to create an innovative new wash machine for their re-useable pallets.
IWM operate from their centrally located office and production facilities in the UK. They worked with PPS, located in the east of the UK and the midlands, to create a bespoke bulk bin washing service machine. One of a kind in the UK.
PPS supplied a high spec brief to IWM. The machine required the capability to twin wash, clean lids, sanitise and jet wash in line with food safe standards. IWM rose to the challenge and went one step further in providing an eco-friendly system to boot.
Water is filtered using a stainless steel wire mesh and cleaned water is then reused through the system. In total approx. 40 litres of water flows through the system for each clean which is approx. the size of a medium backpack or standard fish tank.
A state of the art control panel and monitoring system allows PPS to control and review the energy and water consumption, making this one of the most efficient bin washing systems ever built.
