The UK’s leading air purifier specialist Meaco, has launched the MeacoFan, a DC fan, and part of its multi award winning Meaco Platinum Range of low energy air treatment products.
The timing of the launch is perfect as we head into a warm, humid British summer where the warm nights make it difficult to sleep and a quieter fan is just what people need and want.
The quieter operation is one of the things that makes the MeacoFan different from other, more basic fans on the market, and is all thanks to its DC motor. The other advantages that come with a DC motor, are lower running costs thanks to the motor’s lower energy consumption, lower noise to airflow ratio and has a longer running life.
With a recent consumer survey of over thousand Meaco customers revealing the vast majority of people thought efficiency and cost to run were the most important factors in buying a product the MeacoFan fits the bill perfectly.
With the number one driver for fan sales being a good night’s sleep the MeacoFan is the perfect choice for use in a bedroom, due to the low noise levels, plus a pre-off, pre-on button allows the user to set the timer so the fan can be set to automatically turn off so you don't wake up feeling too cold in the middle of the night. A remote control means you can turn the lights off on the fan if you prefer complete darkness, or alternatively use it as a night light, perhaps in a children’s bedroom.
In a nice touch there is no risk of losing the remote, as it sits nicely on the centre of the fan thanks to its internal magnet.
The MeacoFan is a stylish air circulator, with twelve fan speeds capable of cooling the largest of rooms. The multi-directional oscillation ensures that cool air circulates throughout the whole room by bouncing the air off walls and ceilings, so that every part of the room and everyone in the room feels the benefits. This again is a major difference to your standard pedestal or tower fan.
An ECO mode automatically changes the fan speed as the room temperature changes, providing a simple, one touch control.
It is available from the Meaco web site and Amazon priced at £99.99. It will be available from John Lewis web site at the end of June.
